Heading out to Pigeon Forge TN for the next week. Just planning on doing some serious relaxing with the DW and 3 beagles. I know, the Smoky Mountains are closed because of the government shutdown. I promise not to look

I have a site reserved in a private campground, so the government can't close that down.

A short drive from Pigeon Forge is Gatlinburg. Nice little town you should not pass up. Visit Ol Smokey Distillery and taste test the variety of moonshine flavors. Don't forget to visit the George Dickel Whisky Distillery and Jack Daniles Whiskey Distillery, Lynchburg.
