Pine acres resort in oakham MA ??

Hi everyone!

We are scheduled to go to Pine Acres resort in Oakham MA soon and will need to bring our 2 dogs. There policy says that you cannot leave your dogs alone, so i called and asked if that meant we can't leave them locked in the camper while we go to the pool and they said yes - the dogs can never, EVER be alone. Is this true?!!! That is crazy!

Can you say "Pet Unfriendly."

I feel for you. Finding campground in that area that are appealing is very difficult. I'm lucky that I can park in my brother's driveway in that area and use his 120v electric to keep the refrigerator and converter running. We sleep in their guest bedroom.

It's a shame as that entire area is just nice to be in and ride around in.

Did you talk to just a worker-bee, or the owner. I'd try and talk with the owner. The worse you can get for asking again is another "No."

Good luck.

Turns out they are very pet friendly and could care less if the dogs hung out in the trailer.

Could you elaborate a little on that? Are you there? No problems?

My family is in the East and West Brookfield area and that would be a close place to park some time. (My brother's driveway is better, but only 110v)
