Portland to Crater Lake

I have a 35' TT - should I cut off at Eugene on 58 or go down to Roseburg and take 138?

When are you going
The North entrance is closed for the season and their is snow in the park. The south entrance is open year round. You should call first. Rim elevation is 7100 feet.

Too late for Crater Lake this year. If this is for 2015 season, why not head over 26? If your on the east side of the city, this would be the preferred route. If your on the west side, 22 would be my first choice

Campgrounds are all closed lots of hunters out if your thinking of boon docking. Diamond lake resort is open 1 hour drive through south entrance. Crater lake Rv park is open in Prospect or some on hwy 97. Temps are going below freezing at night. good luck

We're heading up 138 tomorrow and spending one night as I don't know when we will be back in the area....will give us time to see the South end as it's open down there. Diamond Lake RV: I made a reservation but have been calling all day to no answer and also emailing them with no luck. So, will prob stay at Crater Lake RV since it's at the south end. Then heading out Monday for AZ. Thanks for all the input everyone!!
