Raleigh NC area Campgrounds

We are going to be in Raleigh in late October this year for a nephew's wedding - and we are looking for a decent RV park/campground for 3 or 4 nights. The NC State Fair is in progress at that time and they will not allow anyone not associated with the Fair to use their RV facility for the entire month of October. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

We were in that area last month for two nights to visit friends in Wake Forrest. We stayed at a park named "70 East RV Park"... or something very similar. It had only mediocre reviews but there wasn't a wide selection. It's actually more of a full time trailer park that seems to rent their open spots to RVs. But this turned out to be great for us. Very large site. 50amp. It's certainly not a destination resort but it filled out needs.

We stayed at the Falls Lake Rec Area in the Rollying View campground last summer. Big beautiful sites with water and electric. RV dump station.

Open all year according to the website. North of Raleigh and east of Durham.

Thanks for your replys. I think we will check out the Falls Lake Rec Area first and use the 70s CG as a backup. We appreciate your input.
