Ahh yes.. Raystown Lake. I haven't been there in an RV, but when I was a kid my family went a few times. Back then we crammed our tent, sleeping bags, food, and fishing gear into my Dad's boat and motored across the lake from the loading dock to find a spot to pitch the tent.

I was just a little kid, but I recall the first time we went. Dad only had a 12' aluminum boat with a small outboard. We're a family of 4... so when he loaded all of our stuff in that boat there was a mere couple of inches left of the waterline. He was smart enough not to put any of the human cargo in, and he putted across the lake as slow as possible to avoid sinking the boat!

In retrospect, that was a pretty dumb move, but he got there, returned to get us, and it was a great weekend.

That's only a hour and a half from my house. We will be camping up there next year hopefully.
