Really Bumming Today
Bumming today because just realized that one year ago today we left with our grandsons for our 31 day trip to Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Tetons and Colorado.... Today we're just hanging around the house wishing we were on the road.....

Are you retired? If so, why don't you just go somewhere?

I know what your feeling. You need to put the TV Clicker down. Load up the coach and go somewhere while you still can. Life's too short!

We are bumming also. Had a week long trip planned and our son had to go and break both bones in his lower right leg. But hey, for his birthday (and on his birthday) had got 2 stainless rods in his leg. So no trip. Yep, we are.....bumming. Oh well.

I know how you feel! We hit a deer on the way home from our last trip and I am waiting to get it in the factory shop to have the front cap, windshield, and a bunch of stuff behind the cap replaced, $12K in damage.

We thought about doing that but the steps into the 5th wheel are too steep. And the fact that I would probably have to use some of his pills after my back went out. Just gotta take it in stride I guess.

I'm with ya ernest 917. We decided to stop traveling for a year and have DH work to save $$ for more traveling. We will hit the road December 26 to head for Tucson for 3 months, can't wait. The whining will stop when we hit the road

Just got back from our FREE 3 night 4 day trip to a resort in Southern Minn. Had to listen to a sales pitch for 90 minutes then the rest of the weekend was free. Lots of rain but we had a good stock of movies. Very relaxing
Want to go somewhere also but being the 4th of July most every thing is booked. Maybe a state park.
I think I am starting to get this retirement thing down.
Tim
