I camped at the Mill Creek RV Park in Elkmont, Al. It is a nice clean park where one can relax and a club can have a nice gathering. There is no swimming pool, however, there is room for various activities. The sites can handle big rigs and the owners are nice and can give history around the park and the area in relation to the Civil War. The camp is located about 8 miles off I-65 exit 361 north of Elkmont Al. 28861 Veto Rd Good Sam and Passport America Discounts.

We camped at Roan Mountain State Park in Tennessee for the past 2 weekends. It is a very nice park. Has electric, water, roomy sites, no sewer though. Several wildlife to see. Deer very common site. This is a woodsy campground. Offers fishing, hiking, bike riding, swimming, tennis, playgrounds x 2, cabins. This CG is at the border of Tennessee and North Carolina.

Hello 'TennesseSue',

Welcome to iRV2, I noticed this is your first post here and you just recently joined. We're really glad to have you here as a new member and are looking forward to reading your posts about your RVing experiences and adventures. You'll find a great bunch of folks on this site who are very knowledgeable of RVing, the rigs we use, and the places we go in them.

I live about 10 miles from Roan Mountain State Park across the mountain via Hughes Gap Rd over into North Carolina. If you're looking for a camping outing the weekend after Labor Day, we'd love to have you join us at the Appalachian Camper End of Summer Rallyin Unicoi, TN.

Again, welcome to iRV2, we're glad you joined.
