Many, many years ago I was having a beer with one of my Professors after class. I was explaining to him about a very unreasonable neighbor that I had. Several times the neighbor and I almost came to blows over absolutely stupid stuff. This went on for probably 5 years. Oh by the way. He's the ONLY person in my entire life so far, that I have had difficulty getting along with. My professors response was very simple. "You can't deal rationally with an irrational person." And there's another way of looking at it. "You can't fix STUPID."

I would ask the manager if he intends to blacklist the "Claim Jumper" If he does.. Forgive him.. If not.. Camp elsewhere next year (And tell him you have blacklisted the park).

This has happened to us twice. First time it was a tent camper that said he was me when the staff volunteered the name the reservation was under. After checking my drivers license the owner went to the sight and took the tent down and removed all their belongings ( they were gone at that time). When they showed up we told them we had no clue what happened but the owner wanted them to come by the office. Have no clue how that went. Second time was a CG we visit 4-5 times a year. They tried moving us from lake front to mosquito heaven. I refused, got a refund and didn't go back for over a year. In all fairness they did call and offer us a free weekend. We never took them up on the offer.

In all fairness to the manager of the campground he did offer us a free nights camping next time we pass thru. To all thanks for the reassurance of my position in this matter. I did take photos of his. Rig when I went to talk to him but he was not there and he was. Gone when got up the next morning. We are moving on and trying to forget this matter.

Too right! There is no room for violence on the 8fold path.
