Rocky Mountain NP - which timed entrance pass?

Rocky Mountain NP timed entrance passes will be in place during an upcoming trip. They have two options - one for Bear Lake Road Corridor, and one for everything else.

For a very short stop-over for a first-time visitor, does anyone know which one will give us the best park overview? And, assuming it might be Bear Lake Road Corridor, which park entrance(s) would one use to access that area of the park?

Many thanks,
Pete

Bear lake is nice, best accessed from the the east entrance (straight west out of Estes Park).

But, for the best one day trip, do the round trip between Estes Park and Grand Lake. You can start at either end depending on where you want to stay. Both Grand Lake and Estes Park are nice towns.

Grand Lake was affected by the fires last summer, but I haven't been there since and can't say what that looks like.

Regards,

Randy
