Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park - Moraine Park Campground

Last week's snow has melted and the temps are heading back up into the upper 60's / low 70's, so we're heading to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park to enjoy the fall weather and take in the elk "rut" season. For those who have never experienced the elk mating season, it really is something to see and hear!

I agree with the experience. We usually stay at a campground in Estes Park and drive to the NP.

75 degrees today. Absolutely beautiful.

Three males were working hard at keeping the females corralled. My little daughter said they all must be polygamists. That brought a roar from the crowd that had gathered along side the road to watch. Maybe a career in comedy? Her timing sure was good.
