Roswell, NM
Is the 70 to 380 a good way to go from Las Cruces to Roswell? I will be in a 40ft motorhome with toad.

If you are going though or near Roswell it’s worth a stop. Check out the UFO investigation center and the alien stores. An other thing worth doing is their zoo. It free and a nice small s zoo. If you are in the area around July 4th check out the alien festival which is a good time and you never know who you will run in to.

No problems .
You may also consider US-54, from Alamogordo to Santa Rosa where it intersects I-40.

If you don't stay in Santa Rosa, at least stop for a while at the Route 66 Museum.

When are you going and where are you staying at each end?
We will be doing that same leg in April. 70 years ago my parents were married in Las Cruces. We plan to attend church where they got married and dine at the restaurant where they had their rehearsal dinner and reception.

That is so cool, we are staying at the KOA in Las Cruces, I know people bash them but they always have a dog park and we have two big dogs. We are thinking Springs River in Roswell.

We're staying at Sunny Acres in Las Cruces (because they have Pickleball and my wife is hooked).
And in Roswell, we're staying at Red Barn RV park.

Does she know about this web site of places to play pickleball? Many times she could just go into town and find a game. We love it, also! We've dropped in on many town places to play and were welcomed.

Even in Roswell she could play at: https://www.places2play.org/search?q...&submit=Search

Oh, yeah... We both know about it. I've been using it as I populate our trip itinerary Word doc. The Las Cruces-Roswell leg is one part of a month long loop from California to the Mississippi and back.
