Round trip Seattle to east coast,Florida, Texas, Cal to Seattle - route & season

We have thought about doing a circle tour of the country and if anyone has ideas on time of year and whether to go clockwise or counter-clockwise we would appreciate suggestions.

We would leave the Seattle area and go either East or South but with all the weather concerns it is hard to pick a logical time and route. I won't drive in snow with the MH.

We would anticipate several months (perhaps 6 or more) as we are in no hurry.

You would want to cross the upper states in Aug. at the latest , be finished your tour of New England states before the end of Sept. A lot of RV parks there are closing by then. South to Florida , across the south through the winter months , to southern CA. and start up the west coast for home in March.

If you're leaving soon/this summer, go clockwise. If you're leaving later, counterclockwise. Just keep in mind: Even "The South" gets cold in the winter... The only decent place to escape the cold is Key West/South Florida.
