Forgive the spelling but i just wanted to tell everyone about the rt 17 from saute saint marie to montreal and then down into vermont, new hampshere and into maine via rt 2.

Absoluty the most beautiful fall trip across Canada, 10% green, 10% vibrant orange, 20% bright red, 20% deep briallent yellow, 5% mixed browns 20% "purples", and 15% any other color you can think of.....just simply awe inspiring to see God's paint brush at hand. Since I single and driving to meet schedule i was unable to stop for pictures but next year i'll post to see if anyone wants to go with me again just to take the pictures.

It was the 2nd week in Oct, cool (low 70's) to cold (mid thirty's w/ some frost)weather and they had had about 2 inches of snow in North Bay the night before I arrived. Only bad point was the $51/night (Canadian) at The KOA in Pointe Claire just outside Montreal.
