RV campground on Florida Beach

Are there any campgrounds on the beach or beachfront in south west Florida?
I see Red Coconut around ft myers but dont see any more in my searches.
Looking for something south of Tampa.
I dont think there are any on the South East coast of Florida.
If you have any recomendations please let me know.

RV campground on Florida Beach

There is one on the east coast, but the name & place escapes me! I want to say delay beach, Deerfield...I think it began with a D. Sorry, I know I wasn’t much help!

Red Coconut is about as close as you will get, the front row has the tires in the sand, but you are packed in pretty tight. Turtle Beach Campground in Sarasota is also right up on the beach. We have stayed at both and they are great. There is Beverly Beach in Ormond on the east coast and Gamble Rogers has a beachfront side as well.

Keep in mind that salt air is extremely hard on RVs and equipment. We ruined our bikes in a few weeks. You need to wash down constantly.

That's the only one I know of unless you are in the panhandle. I just cant stay there bc they don't allow German shepherd dogs (actually most large dogs not allowed there). Since he is my best friend then I can't go there.

The campground at Fort DeSoto south of Tampa is worth a look.
