For future reference, Eagle View RV Campground/Resort just outside of Fountain Hills (right off 87) is amazing. Quiet, gorgeous views of Four Peaks and all the other surrounding desert, pool, hot tub, tennis court, basketball court, laundry, fitness room, free donuts every morning, and across the highway from the casino if you're into that. Wild horses, coyotes, etc walk by all the time on the other side of the fence and cattle guards.

There are fall packages where you pay about $1800 for October 1 - January 1. All inclusive.

We stayed further east in Gold Canyon at the Arizonian an over 55 park. We were only in the area for a few days at the height of the season.
