Rv park near Brooklyn NY or even an hour away.

Hi there

After doing a bunch of google searching I found some insane priced rv parks but wondering if any one has some experience with something with in an hour drive of brooklyn.
We are leaving Boston Massachusetts tomorrow for bellport, wood berry and Staten Island finishing the week in queens village. So need a place to stay over the weekend. We found liberty but they have not returned my calls or email and cost $100 a night. For that I'll go stay at a hotel.

I was even thinking something towards the hamptons as that is only about an hour or so from brooklyn and driving late Sunday night or real early Monday morning should be a breeze.

So any thoughts.

Thx
Sam.
Ps oh it's for this coming weekend! Jan 31- deb 2

NYC rv park

Sam, we have lived in that area and the east side of Pa. along I78 for years. I don't think you will find any place open at this time of year within an hour of NYC. Most all close on Oct. 15 to the 30th.And reopen April 15th. I could be wrong but I think that's the story. BTW Liberty gets that kind of money and more during the season.

Try Battle Row in Bethpage. Right off 495. 45 min from the city.

The web site for Nassau county says they are open year round. I live two miles away and see activity there all the time.

Looks like I'm too late for this reply, but we stayed at Croton-on-Hudson park in late fall and took the train into the city. Big beautiful park with lots of grass, and reasonable prices. Train station was right next to the park. Sometimes we drove into Queens, parked for free, and took the subway from there. Check it out for future reference: Croton Point Park
