RV Park near San Jose, CA

Can anyone recommend an RV Park in the San Jose, CA area? My grandson plays football for San Jose State and we want to attend some of his home games and need to stay in our RV since we have a small dog that has to remain behind during the games. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

The only decent ones that I am aware of are Coyote Valley and Gilroy Garlic. Both are south of San Jose.

There is also a Thousand Trails park in Morgan Hill just off Watsonville Rd. Believe it is avail to the public. Not a bad park if its a short stay. Easy drive to San Jose.

I live in Morgan Hill and would recommend Coyote Valley. https://coyotevalleyresort.com/

It is rated 10 and is the closest to where you are going.

I’ve stopped at Casa de Fruta while out there on business. It’s in a pretty area & they have the best blackberry wine I’ve ever had.

I see in your profile you have a 1999 MH. Coyote Valley is strict about their 10 year rule so that park won’t work for you.

Thank you everybody for your posts. I guess we’ll try Coyote Valley. And, by the way, our current RV is a 2016 Crusader 5th wheel so I think we will qualify to stay at Coyote Valley. Thanks again everybody.

Just a quick caution about Coyote Valley. It is a nice, modern park, but when we checked they wouldn't let you request a specific site or even assign one at reservation time. You show up and get what they have. If that doesn't matter to you, go for it.

Thank you for the heads up regarding spaces. Since I am not familiar with the park, I really don't have any preference with regard to what space we stay in. A pull through would be nice, but backing in isn't a problem for me. Thanks again.

Coyote Valley sites are all back-in.

In case you don’t get a campsite, check out La Quinta Hotels. They are dog friendly and will let you leave your dog in the room while you go out to the game.

The Elks Lodge in San Jose has an RV park if you are an Elk.

Thank you for the info for La Quinta hotels. Unfortunately, our dog doesn't do well when left alone in a strange environment. He would be making quite a commotion the whole time we are away.

And, nope, not an Elk. That would be great if I were.

Again, all the comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
