RV parking at UF Health Jacksonville

Son in Law is having surgery. Anyone know if there is anything unusual about this lot that would prevent us from parking a 30ft Motorhome overnight? Thanks in advance.

Call and ask. Most will accommodate if you follow their instructions.

When you get a chance, give us some more details. Reason I say so, is in the past, i have seen a similar thread where someone was looking for a place to stay near UF Jax hospital. It would be good for others to know.

RV parking at UF Health Jacksonville

Call the hospital and ask for Patsy, Parking Services. She is very accommodating. She escorted us to a gated lot (blue line, Lot S) behind the Emergency room where they park the parking lot shuttles and some other hospital equipment. It is a little tight making the turns (32ft pulling a toad) and the lot is small, but there is zero traffic so parking blocking the lane was ok. It has a high security fence across the back but you can walk in and out through the employee lot. The parking is about 50 yards from the emergency room entrance. There is also an arm style gate so there is no "in and out" for your tow or toad. You call them and they come and open the gate. They came quickly and didn't complain, but we moved our toad to a nearby free lot that was just a short walk from the RV so we didn't need to bother them while we were there.

Also, there is a large free gravel lot (yellow line, Lot M) on the West side of the hospital that doesn't have a gate. If you were to park there, you could drive in and out. I do not know if they will let you park there or how secure this corner of Lot M is for overnight.

Hopefully this will be useful to someone. (PS surgery went well)
