RV Parking (not camping) near Disneyland

We're going to Disneyland at the end of the month with a couple other families. We're thinking of all packing into our RV for the trip as it's a much nicer way to spend 6.5 hours. We're staying in a hotel near the park which doesn't seem to have space to park our RV (24 foot).

So, we're looking for a place we can park (but not camp in) the RV for a few days. The Disney parking area specifies that there is NO overnight parking. Any ideas?

Change Hotels, a 24 foot motor home is not much (if any) longer than some pickups.

Parking is pretty tight in all the hotels around there. Plus we're staying in the same hotel with friends. So, that's really not an option for us.

Any other ideas?

if you or your friends are paying to stay at a hotel/resort, then why would you not ask the hotel/resort for parking you 'vehicle' there? at least you should ask....
most hotels, especially in resort areas, know that RVs are going to need room to park, especially if you park in a far corner...

or are you saying that you just aren't comfortable maneuvering your rig in a tight parking lot?

otherwise, a rv storage facility?

Most hotels will have, (or know of a nearby place), where you can park your RV.
Have you bothered to ask?

I did. I called and got no real answer. I've since called again (talking to a different person this time) and now have a lead on a possible option. I'll let you know what I find. In the mean time, I'm still open to suggestions.

Thanks

I finally was able to get a hold of the place the hotel recommended, but they no longer have any over-sized parking places due to some construction going on. Back to square one.

Are you or anybody in your group a member of the Elks?

If so you could park your RV at the Fullerton Elks lodge or even camp there for $25 with hookups.

It's five miles from Disneyland and up on a hill so you can see the Disney fireworks every night.

For those that don't need overnight parking you can park in the Mickey and Friends parking lot for $23 a day. See this page for more information.

I'd also call since the made changes in the lot you'd be parking in which might cause issues. There is a 13' 11" height limit when entering the Mickey and Friends parking structure which shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe you should re-think and stay in the rig. Might have to spend $100/night.

Very close to Disneyland is the Anaheim Convention Center and the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce. Both should have experience in parking oversized vehicles in the area. Give them a call.
