Candlestick RV Park - It's just a parking lot with full hookups and you are crammed in like sardines BUT it's the closest park to the city and compared to the other choices a little farther away I would pick this one.

There was a recent thread on this topic with several answers, you might try looking that one up because it had a lot of info.

Are you looking for overnight or longer? Are you wanting to be in the city or just the general area? Campground or resort?

We stayed at Vineyard RV park, it was tight and a little pricey, but not bad. It may be too far for you. We would stay there again.

More CG options if you can go south of San José. Search Moran Hill for a recent discussion.

If I had it to do over again, I would stay near Vallejo and take the 40 minute Jetcat ferry right to Fishermen's Wharf on the downtown waterfront. From there, take the cable cars to wherever.

Hi JMRAZZ,
We stay at San Francisco RV Resort | Park your RV on the Cliffs overlooking the Pacific Coastline | Pacifica, California . The sites are tight. Ask for a site overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This place is on the cliffs over looking the ocean. It is an easy 7-10 mile drive in SF. Plenty of parking at the buildings to the right of the Alcatraz boat launch site. If you have a handicap status parking card there are about 4-5 spots right at the Alcatraz boat dock. Consider timing your drive into SF before the morning rush. FYI there is no after the morning rush.
