Near Quebec stay across the river in the town of Levi at Camping Transit. To visit old town Quebec take the walk-on ferry from Levi directly to the old town dock.

Summer reservations recommended - this park is used by the caravans and fills up for big rigs.

Dave do you have a Big rig guide? It list a good many campgrounds in the Quebec and Montreal area. If you don't I can email you a listing.

If you want resort like camping with lot's of rooms to move around, you can go at Les terrasses Montcalm English

Near Quebec there is another resort (I did not try it) Boisé de la chaudière Le concept - Boisé de la Chaudière

Stay safe.

P.s. I understand their web sites are not fully bilingual but I'm sure they speek English... If you need help contact me

Camping Alouette by Montreal and Camping Transit by QC, we were at both this past summer, noticed rigs over 40' at both places and both had some pull through sites. I would call in advance.

Both campgrounds we drove to the commuter lots and took the ferry in to visit the cities. Highway traffic around Montreal is brutal.

X2 for the ferry to/from Levi and old town Quebec. The view of the city from the ferry is "spectac". Service is frequent.
