Hi - going to be in Indiana in May for the Indianapolis 500. Looking for rv resort with concrete pads and full hook ups for Class A motorhome. Does not need to be next to speedway. Also any suggestions for sight seeing in the area. After the Indy 500 will be traveling to Kansas for the NASCAR race the next weekend. Suggestions for rv resort in Kansas or Missouri with easy access to the speedway.

There are no "resorts" around Indianapolis. Campgrounds yes, resorts no. The KOA next to Mount Comfort RV has gravel deluxe patio sites & the campground has a pool. That's the closest to resort you're going to get around Indy.

However, if long concrete pull thru's, FHU, gated, is what you seek Deer Creek Valley RV Park you might take a look at this place. It's right off I70 about 40 minutes west of the speedway in Topeka. If you have any spare time a tour of the capitol is worth while.
