I will be embarking on the first leg of my "grand adventure" in May, ending up in Intercourse, Pa. before heading back to work for two months. (The itenerary will be published later...)

When I head back to the land of the leisurely challenged, I will need to store my rig for a couple of months. Can anybody recommend a place around Philly that is safe and reasonable? I also wonder how the Amish farmers would feel about renting a chunk of land in/beside a barn?

Maybe check with RV dealers local to that area? They might be able to help you out.
