S.C. Myrtle Beach area

Anyone, 2 winters ago I stayed at Willow Tree, in Longs, before I left there was a rumor that there was going to be a new rv campgrounds close to that area. Does anyone know if that happened and the name and location of such? Thanks

The state park at Murrels Inlet is pretty nice and the south CG has full hook ups. Not a resort but has some advantages for the area. Walk to the beach, good bike riding, the botanical gardens worth a day visit...

That would be Huntington Beach State Park. And they are now accepting reservations for stays after May 11. But good luck getting one. Myrtle Beach State Park is doing the same.

Carolina Pines is the name of the new place. It's a Sun Community but very very nice. Lots of amenities IE pools, a restaurant, a bar, a water park, 2 dog parks, etc.
We stayed last fall even though we prefer state and federal parks. It's worth a look.

We love to go to Ocean Lakes. We actually went in January it was great! The beach is pristine and your spot is right next to the ocean, you really can't get any closer!

North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and dry dock marina is at the north end directly on the intercoastal waterway. In addition to the Marina, it has a nice pool area.
