We enjoyed our week at Olde Stone Village in McMinnville last summer. About 30-min from Salem however.

Another vote for Hee-Hee Illahee. Funny name, nice campground. Although Silver Falls is quite nice, availability is very limited during the summer months. And, it is quite distant for daily commuting to Salem.
