Unless a KOA is the only choice, I don't understand why anyone would stay there as they are usually way overpriced.

We actually used the Circus Circus location several times, since we don't tow a car. Super easy to get up and down the Strip by walking over and catching a cab... and I don't think we ever paid more than 55 bucks a night. Certainly not 70 or 80... so I will be sad to see this location go.

X2 We fought that mess once and never again that place really sucks...If you really need to get rid of your dollars save some money and go to your bathroom at home throw some dollars in the toilet and pull the handle because thats what you will do in Vegas with the slots..It is a rare day when you will leave with more money than you came in with..I use to work casinos here in Co. And was told only 2% of the people in a casino will leave with more money than they came in with. Remember casinos were not built for winners.."Oh but we had fun losing." Yeah right...

Gambling is only the third biggest source of revenue for casinos in Vegas these days... shows and restaurants are the big thing now If you are a food person, on the west coast, it's the easiest place to sample some very nice top line restaurants (the main reason we go).

Vegas campground recommendation

We have never been to Vegas and plan to stop for a couple of days next year on our way to the GC from Zion. we need to stay in a campground where we can find easy transportation to the strip since we are not towing a car. this is the reason I had pinned Circus Circus to my plans, but now I need to change. Any other parks offer shuttle service like Sams? Thanks
