San Francisco camping/parking

DW says she wants to go out west (from Florida) next year. It will be our 50th anniversary and I got to thinking. We have been to 49 states, the 50th is kind of hard to drive to and I don't care to fly. I've been researching cruises and can go from San Fran to Hawaii and back. I'm trying to find campground, but more importantly, where to safely store the rv for a couple weeks. I also need to figure out getting to the terminal. Take the toad , or leave with rv and take taxi or uber. Suggestions appreciated.

Just park it on the curbside. Someone will come along, move in and take wonderful care of your coach. Probably won't even charge you for the inconvenience either.
Catch the right custodian and they'll loan you their bicycle to get to the terminal too.

West of SF Int'l Airport is San Fransisco RV Resort. Right on the Pacific Ocean a tad over $100 per night. The other two campgrounds appear sketchy. Immediately south of the airport is Millbrae Station self storage and further south is an Extra Space. Their accommodations for a large RV look limited though. I know that you probably don't want to drive across the bay to Oakland and Hayward, but there are larger storage options at Harbor Bay RV & self storage in south Oakland and Hayward RV storage in Hayward.
Don't forget to fill up before you cross the state line.

Have a great and safe trip.

RV parking in the Bay Area is though. Look into short term storage arrangements. You may also try the Alameda County Fairgrounds, Google it or look it up on RV Parky.

With everything going on out in that area I would NOT reveal on an open forum where the camper will be parked unattended.

We've stayed at Marin RV park many times. It's spendy but there are few options near SFO ... and it is safe. Tell the friendly office folks what you're doing and they'll keep an eye on the rig for you. It is a ten minute walk from there to the ferry to SF. From SF ferry landing you can Uber to SFO. Plan on 1.5 hrs for the commute. You could Uber from Marin RV park as well but the ferry ride is more pleasant.

Its looking like I could fly there first class for what I'd spend on parking and the extra fuel getting there. May have to go to plan B.

In Fremont there is an RV and Boat storage. I have never used them so don't know for sure if they do short term stoarge. If yes you could leave both your rig and toad there then ride BART to SFO.

Consider going out of Los Angeles. Many better options than San Francisco.

Not trying to harsh your mellow, but traveling in the Bay area with an RV is a chore. Fuel prices, homeless, trash, road conditions, and attitude leave lots to be desired.
That's my opinion and others may vary.

Well, I decided to go with plan B and fly. I found a park about an hour away from the port for about 250/week, that may have been alright, but considering everything, going to skip that plan. The funny thing is, most of the negative comments about the SF area, I can say about South Florida. So yeah I get it.

not happy

So I planned and booked the cruise with Princess. I gave them a deposit of over $400. Then, my daughter gets into a head-on collision with someone that "fell asleep". After more than a month in the hospital, she has at least six months of rehab to do. With all of the flying back and forth to visit and support her, I decided that the cruise was a no go.
I checked the cruise line's site and found a chart of dates for a full refund, after I was told the deposit was non-refundable. Apparently, the policy on refunds does not apply if there is a "promotional price". Guess you have to look for the fine print.
