San Onofre Campground, San Clemente, CA

Does anyone know if a 40foot MH fill fit here? The website says 36 foot max, but I do know that other parks in the area also say that but easily fit a 40 and longer.

TIA,
J

Is this the one you mean? Truly a parking lot campground....

or this one?

Also... go to RV Park Reviews site and read the reviews to try to get an idea of what size RV the person says he has. Unfortunately, some folks think a 'big' RV is 30'.

Neither. The one on the right. We booked San Clemente SB but need a spot for Friday night. Looked at rvparkreviews. Most reviews are older and I know parks like San Clemente opened up to larger rigs but their website still says the sites are smaller. We have been there many times and 40-42s will fit. Maybe even 45’.Click image for larger version

If you are referring to San Onofre State Beach, San Mateo campground on Christianitos road, it is possible but a bit tight. There are a few sites that you can maneuver to get into. All are back in and no sewer connection.

OK... I'll try again. Looks like they use a lot of short posts lining the parking site which makes parking difficult, especially if the road is narrow and not enough turning room. Look like deep sites though. Take a look a #141 picture. I wonder when those photos were taken as not many there!! Good luck!
