Savanna Georgia campgrounds

Looking for a campground with in a hours drive from Savanna. Need site big enough for a 40 footer with 4 slides.

We've stayed a CreekFire Resort there in Savannah. It is very nice.

We've stayed at Red Gate Farms a couple of times, full hook up and just outside of Savanah. redgatecampground.com

Donít go near Whispering Pines RV Park. They are very rude and as you can tellÖsites are terrible.

Skidaway State Park. If you can get into one of their full hook pull through sites they are about 80 feet long and LOTS of space between sites.

Another vote for Skidaway. Nice place with plenty of room. We stayed at Creekfire last year and it seemed like a parking lot. Very close to your neighbor and no privacy.

We stayed at the KOA for a few days a couple years ago. Very nice. We had one of the expensive patio sites. Wasn't really necessary but it was awfully nice!

X2 on Red Gates Farm. Although we stayed with them in June, I would recommend them and would use them again on my next trip to Savannah. Location is very convenient.

Stayed in our Palazzo 36.1 and had plenty of room for the slides. .

Skidaway State Park !!!!! Get one of the pullthrough sites, Big sites with plenty of room for coach and toad. Quite and very shady, Easy access to Savannah.
Stayed there 3 days last October and plan to go back for sure!!!!!

Skidway is amazing if you plan 6+ months in advance or plan to stay during the week and not on the weekends.

One more vote for Skidaway park. We stayed there two years ago with our rig in beautiful large pull thru.

I agree!!! We stayed at Rivers End on Tybee Island and it was nice. More amenities than Skidaway but more expensive. Sites are not as big but some are good size. Easy walk to the Beach. Good restaurants nearby also.
