Al,
We stayed at Savannah Oaks in Oct. 2006. Until then I had not realized live oak trees had acorns. Those squirrels were very busy critters during our stay. Do you know how loud an acorn is hitting the top of a MH from waaay up in a tree?
Enjoy!

Hi All,
Hey Ding-a-ling, yes I know very well how loud they can be, also when your sitting out relaxing in your comfy chair, and get hit in the head they hurt , and wake you right up ! They hit so hard I sometimes think the squirrels are throwing them at me !! However I will take that over wakeing up for work any day, ahhh this lifestyle is great !!!!!

I realize this message is a little late for to respond to the message posted, I felt I needed to warn you that if you are in a reproductive condition, you may want to consider that the falling of acorns on the MH roof is akin to rain on a tin roof of your house.
Well, happy dreams....... whatever!

Been there, had that happen at Savannah Oaks CG!
Those squirrels can be very busy critters in October!
