Saybrook CT

We are going to Saybrook Ct. July 5
For a family function. Does anyone have a suggestion on a place to stay.
We are traveling in a 40' MH. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Aces High

You are too big for Hammonnasset State Park and I am sure it is booked. May want to look at Aces High in East Lyme. Mixed reviews but should be able to handle your MH. After that, you should look at the parks in the Mystic area. May be tough on a holiday weekend.
Here's another thought. There are a lot of large Marinas between Old Saybrook and Chester CT along the Connecticut river. You may want to call a few and see if you can park in their lots. I have done that in other areas. Some might even let you plug in. Enjoy Saybrook, it is a nice area and the town I plan on retiring to.

Always have the Casinos

There is also a campground in Clinton, CT. Below is link. Don't know how it is but it is very close to Old Saybrook.
Riverdale Farm Campsites :: Family Camping in Killingworth, CT

Last resort is the two casinos. No more than half hour to Old Saybrook and parking is free.

Harbor one, (marina) said I can stay there for the night. That's perfect as we need to be in Norwalk Ct. on Monday.
Again thank everyone for help.

Glad it worked out

Some great places to visit in the area. Another great restaurant if you like seafood is Lenny and Joes, in Clinton or Westbrook.
Wait for traffic to settle down before you jump on I95 Monday morning. It's a rat race until at least 9:00 AM. I am still a working fool and know that road well. Have a good time!
