Scottsdale / Phoenix RV Parks for Mayo Clinic

There is a good possibility that we may end our trip in October at the Mayo clinic in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area before returning to the PNW. It may be the Scottsdale location, but not positive yet. In looking at RV parks, there seems to be a lot, but none are really rated that well on Campground Reviews. We will be in a motorhome with a toad, and want to stay at a decent, safe place , 15 to 20 minutes, or less to the clinic, preferably - not looking for some opulent, over the top deal. Any recommendations that I can look into?

The Eagle View RV park at Fort McDowell is a great place to stay, we have many times and always enjoyed being there. Fort McDowell is directly East of Fountain Hills and an easy 15 minute drive to the Mayo Clinic on the West side of Fountain Hills. Not sure if this clinic location offers the services you need but you can find out.
Eagle View is the closest RV park to this Mayo location.
Good luck!

Eagle View is probably the closest to the main Scottsdale Mayo location too. There are few options in Scottsdale itself. You could look into Westworld of Scottsdale (basically a parking lot with electric) (maybe water?) but at times that they have a show going on you may have to have a ticket to the show to get in. I'd stay at Eagle View. About 30 minutes to the main Mayo.

there are many.

eagle view would be a great choice. there are many large resort type rv parks in the mesa area that is not all that far away. they should have paces available in october.

there is a nice maricopa county park in fountain hills called mcdowell mountain. this might actually be the closest park to mayo clinic.

Don't be too put off by RV parks and their reviews. The parks in the greater Phoenix area are mostly huge and geared for winter visitors. They would all be safe and good for you. Also, the above parks that are mentioned would be very suitable. McDowell regional park is very, very nice and scenic if you can be assured of only having to be there less than 2 weeks... which I think is their limit. Otherwise, Eagle View is very nice but probably more expensive than the Maricopa County Regional Park, McDowell. But really.... any of the huge RV parks would be satisfactory for a short time.

Even Lost Dutchman State Park is awesome for a 2-week maximum. (We volunteered there.)

We decided to do the McDowell County Park. Better area for what we like to camp in.

Excellent choice, that county park is absolutely beautiful.

Good luck at the Clinic.
