Search function in campgrounds

I must be doing something wrong, if I type in Salt Lake campgrounds none of the first twenty threads have either the word Salt or Lake in the title. Same if I type in other locations seems either the search function is very user unfriendly or I just do not know how to use it.

I just did it and many appeared for Salt Lake City. Use the Search on top of this page. Click on IRV2.com Walla!!

I guess leaving off the “City” and just typing Salt Lake was my error. Thanks so much for the reply, I have read many of your posts helping others and you are a treasure trove of knowledge and I am so thankful that you willingly share it with newbies like us.

Open a new browser page....
Enter www.irv2.com "salt lake city"......

I think you will find google is a much better search engine than what is on this web site. And using google to search provides me much better results for specific terms.

I also find it very non-user friendly. Here are a couple examples of the IRV2 search option, and the results.

Search input: Salt Lake Campgrounds

Results: As you can see, your thread came up first. Then after that it is a whole bunch of threads that have NOTHING to do with Salt Lake campgrounds, but yet are search results because of the “Keyword/s”

There is probably a way to “refine” or tailor the results to be more specific to what you’re looking for, but I haven’t figured it out yet.
