Searching

A couple of years ago, we looked into a RV park in south Texas that had a small building on the back of some of the lots. They had washer/dryers in some and some were like a small den. I can't find the location or remember what they were called. For some reason I thought Texas Rooms, but that doesn't turn up any info on searches..Any help greatly appreciated by this old forgetful man..

If you go to the town on Google Maps and enter "RV Park" it will display every RV park in the area.

Do you know what town it was near?

Most of the parks that have those call them Casitas. Have you tried looking it up on campgroundreviews.com? Just look on the interactive map in that area and it will show all parks. That's a sister site to IRV2.

How did you pay? Credit card, Debit card? Any records of past purchases.
Do you have an Android phone with Google maps? I go into Maps, click on my profile/account icon and select timeline. I can scroll back 5+ years and tell you where I was and even can see pictures I took. All my pictures are geo tagged.

I think Lt Dan is right, these outbuildings are often called 'Casitas'. The exact location varies but most often they provide some additional storage or space for appliances. Some folks use them as additional outdoor recreation shelter when entertaining and more than a couple have become Man Caves. Just don't let your brother in law move in; the parks don't permit that.

Nope that's not them...some call them casistas, but most look like cabins to me..The ones we looked at were just a single room with a bathroom and were on the back of each rv lot. not something you can rent....thanks for the info...

Hidden Valley Ranch and it's sister Leisure Valley are deeded parks, many with Casitas as you describe. Their websites list sites for rent or sale by owner. There are many parks in the Valley, check rvparkreviews for a comprehensive list.

Ok, those still don't look like to ones we looked at. Heck some of them there have 2 bdrm's and more....the ones we looked at were one room, some with only a washer dryer and small bathroom....
