Searching for long term rv camping in Florida
So I just bought my first class c motor home and fixed it up and am ready to hit the road but have no idea of places to stay for more than a few nights. Was looking to settle around Florida and east coast area if anyone could help with rv parks that do 6 month deals or places that aren’t $500 plus a month please.

Pretty tough in Florida to find a spot for $500 a month or less. Good luck!

The rule of thumb in Florida, especially in the winter, is the south of the state is expensive, the north is more reasonable. Also the coasts are expensive and the interior is more reasonable.

Less than $500 for six months can be done but not necessarily at a place that one would actually want to stay, and it is rare. If you are willing to go a year at that price point things will open up a bit. Assume you will have to pay for the whole year up front to get the best bang for the buck.
The above assumes electric is not included.

Good luck for $500/mth.
For comparison sake…Savannah, GA is around $1200/mth.

I'm booked at Manatee Hammock CG in Titesville FL for the month of December for $620 and that including power and tax.
I'm in Hart Springs over on the west coast and the monthly rate is less then $500.
Both have a pool.
Check County campgrounds in Florida for rates, you will find many with under $600 per month rates.

some hole in the wall places in the center of the state from Lake Okeechobee north may fit the bill.... not great amenities but if you like catfish camp type atmosphere with good lake fishing.... check any listed for deals.

I wish you luck, I think you will need to make a lot of phone calls.
