Sedona Rv campgrounds

Any anyone recommend a campground near or in Sedona Az that they found very nice and a good price as well. Would appreciate any suggestions. I do have a toad so just need a good place to enjoy. Thanks

Dead Horse Ranch State Park in nearby Cottonwood - away from the traffic of Sedona.

I agree with Dead horse st park. Spent a week there last summer and an easy drive to Sedona as well as the very interesting local towns of Cottonwood and Jerome.

Dead Horse. Hands down. Rancho Sedona has a good location but is kind of just ok unless you are right on the creek. Dead Horse is a state park very well managed. We go there several times a year. After you see the traffic nightmare in Sedona you’ll appreciate the quaintness of Cottonwood. Red Tail and Coopers Hawk are the best IMHO and if you can get #61, 62 or 63 you won’t regret.

You have gotten the two usual Sedona area recommendations. I am surprised it is not a little more balanced. Rancho Sedona is a very nice park. Not cheap and hard to get reservations. Depends on whether you care about FHUs or not. The Sedona traffic is not that bad if you have ever seen real traffic in a big city.

Rancho Sedona is where we stayed. I thought it was a nice place. Would certainly go there again. When we were there full or almost full every night.
