Short Term Storage in Norfolk VA
I will be flying from Norfolk Airport, leaving for a 18 day trip in September. Does anybody know of a convenient place near there to store a class A motorhome? Thanks.

The Daily East parking lot at the Norfolk airport accommodates oversized vehicles at a max cost of $11/day, maximum of 60 days.

For a total cost of around $200, this would be as convenient as you could get.

Thank you John, but I called the airport and they said they do not accomodate large motorhomes in the airport lots. I also looked on Google Earth, and that shows there are no motorhomes parked in the East lot.
My in-laws live close to the airport, so I was looking for a storage site near the airport.

This option is about 30 minutes away from the Norfolk airport, in Chesapeake. Should be able to accommodate your rig pretty easily.

Yes thanks John. That looks pretty good, I like how it is more on the west side of the area to lessen driving the coach far into the city. I'll give them a call.
I am also hoping for some input from people that are local and familiar with the area

So just as a follow up on my quest to find a storage place in Norfolk for about 3 weeks, I never did find a location that had availability that would work for me. The airport staff seemed to have very little info or knowledge about the needs to store a large motorhome. They recommended a nearby truck stop that lets airport patrons park for a fee. I looked that up on the web, and it didn't look like a place that I would want to leave my rig.
Then my in-laws measured their driveway and decided I would just fit, so that's what we ended up doing. FIL said last year the house across the street had 2 class A's parked for a couple weeks, so thought I would be fine. So it all worked out well, and my wife and I had a fantastic time on a once-in-lifetime trip to Egypt and a safari resort in South Africa

Nobody called the HOA about blocking the sidewalk? There's always somebody it seems. Glad it worked out.
We lived in Chesapeake back in the early 90's. I bought a boat and dropped it off in my driveway at lunch. When I got home from work there was a citation on the front door because it was in front of the front line of the house by a few feet.
The nosy biddy patrol at work again.
