Smokies to Ohio

Heading home to Ohio from Maggie valley Tuesday. Looking for somewhere to spend 3-4 days on the way home in tn or ky. Preferably along I 75 corridor. We have a 42 ft 5th wheel. Full hook up a plus but not mandatory. Water and 50 amp a plus. Looking for space and shade. Thanks.

Hi bishgeo,
In central Kentucky is an attraction called The Ark. This is a full day attraction. A camp ground to consider is Whispering Hills at https://www.whisperinghillsrv.com/ The Ark is about 25 miles (all on I 75). There are also many other things to do in the Georgetown area. Brochures are in the CG office.

Just spent a weekend at this campground. Its just off of 75 in Corbin Ky. Its about 8 miles off of 75. it is a small campground pull through sites quite.

It is close to the Cumberland falls state park and at the front door of the Daniel boon national park.

We stayed at Whispering Hills this spring. Easy on and off I75. Plenty to do in the area. I don't recall much shade though.
