South Carolina and Georgia in January

Have two weeks to spend,looking for great places to visit and stay along the coast. Thanks in advance

Charleston, Beaufort, Savannah all good choices. Hunting Island state park is a good place to stay.

Hi trimman,
Don't forget Myrtle Beach. It will be cold anywhere in SC and GA in January. Not sure what your used to or expect. For just about guaranteed good weather, travel farther south to at least the I4 in Florida.

Myrtle Beach--State Park is ocean front, campsites are wooded. Lovely. Many other CGs in area.
As for weather, usually in upper 40s lower 50s daytime, can be freezing at night, but usually upper 30s this time of year.
Locals know if you don't like the weather today, wait a couple days and it'll be different. Ocean temps keep air temps moderated.
Charleston can be, on average, 5-7 degrees warmer Jan and Feb.
