South Carolina Seasonal Site

We are in the northern part of South Carolina and tend to use our 34’ fifth wheel trailer for trips that last at a minimum of seven days. But we were thinking that perhaps we would like ti be able to use it more frequently. The idea is to perhaps put it in an RV campground for the 2022 season and use it on weekends and the occasional week-long vacation. Our preference would be on a lake rather than at the shore.

Does anyone have any campgrounds that they would recommend for a seasonal site?

Thank you.

Willow Tree comes to mind but it isn't much of a lake.

There's a couple up around Lake Keowee; I don't know anything about them.
