South San Francisco Elks Club RV park
Has anyone been to this campground? Probably you have to be a member of the Elks, which I am,to use the facilities. We have a grandchild due to be born on May 1 and we want to stay in this area. We live in Palmdale,CA so would be coming from the south. How about traffic in this area, pulling a 34' fifth-wheel? Online , I find that the campground has four sites with only 20 amp power, but for three or four nights, that should be fine. I sure would appreciate some information on this, if anyone , here, has any. Thanks in advance.

Roger14, I see this is your first post and welcome to the forum!! I can not tell you anything about the Elk's camp ground but I travel that city and the one south of you only in the early morning hours to avoid all that traffic. Enjoy bring that Grandchild into this world!

Roger14,
Try asking your question on the Elks page (elks.org). There are probably quite a few Elks there who could help you. By the way, which Lodge do you belong to?

It looks like from google 'earth' view that the lodge is located in a very nice area. The 'earth' view is few years old but there is a large area on the east side of the lodge that looks like it is laid out for RV parking. We travel and use BPOE facilities a lot and this is an interesting location close in to SF.
Give them a call and they will tell you what they offer.

Beagle, we will be driving down I-5 from Vancouver, WA in a couple weeks on the way to Phoenix to see family. Any good tips you could pass on about which lodges would be good to overnight at would really be appreciated. We're members of Vancouver #823.
Thanks,
Ken
