Southern Missouri Camping

Recently spent a couple of weeks camping in Missouri. The first week was at Chipmunk Crossing RV Park on MO 17, 8 miles south of West Plains.

Welcome to Chipmunk Crossing RV Park

This was a wonderful place to camp. It was quiet an peaceful and the host were terrific. This was our most enjoyable camping experience ever.

The second week was at Huzzah Valley Resort, We had a great time there. It is a beautiful piece of property (400+ acres) with rafting, horseback riding, etc. We had the place to ourselves until Memorial Day weekend. Being there during the holiday weekend was like being at a giant party - we loved it. After the weekend it was just us again. Management at the resort is 1st class.
