Southern Utah ATV

I am planning a 2.5 week trip from Flagstaff Arizona to Moab Utah in June (Im driving the rig out and back before and after the trip). The attached map is an outline. Im thinking of going up Byway 12 as opposed to 89 and around. We have a 9yo son and 13yo daughter. I have 2 single person ATVs and would like to find some campgrounds / boondocking areas from which we can ride our ATVs. Looking for suggestions. Thanks!

June 2017 we went to Fruita Campground. A NPS government campground with no services. Very restrictive with the generator rules. We left and went East 40 miles to Duke's Slickrock Campground & RV Park. This is a no nothing campground but with full services at a good price. But, due South out of town on Sawmill Basin Road we took our Razr to Henry Mountains. The desert views was fantastic but the once we hit the mountains, the ride was super fantastic. We turned around at Dandelion Flat picnic area (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Da...=en&authuser=0) We saw steaming bear scat! That was cool!!!!
We are going to Utah again the May & June. Should be fun with no reservations!!
