Spots in Southern California (San Diego area)

Hey! I am struggling to find a place to stay while visiting San Diego area foor the next 1-2 months. Anyone got any secret destination tips for a 20-foot travel trailer (Airstream)?

Wherever you choose you best make reservations. Spots are expensive near the city. If money is an issue I suggest you look in east county.

We stayed at a Park in Escondido a couple years ago. Beautiful area, close enough to SD for day trips and also north to the Temecula area and points east.

Spots in Southern California (San Diego area)

https://www.pechanga.com/rvresort

This is about a half hour from North County San Diego and maybe a bit over an hour from downtown without traffic. From here you can visit the Temecula wineries and there is a nice casino and all the amenities. Itís been a while since Iíve been here but it was very nice last time I visited. I just made reservations so they have openings. Itís not exactly close to San Diego but may do in a pinch.

Check out Olive Avenue RV in Vista -- conveniently located, well maintained. The only downside is that the sites are graded steeply, so that you may have to prop up the nose of your trailer.

Been there twice in the last two months, excellent place nice golf course (Journey) and a cool pool area to watch sports, swim up bar and the casino is huge
