Spring break destination with kids (3 and 6)

Hi everyone, my family and I are looking for a destination for spring break (next year). Kids will be 3 and 6. Our preference is to be somewhere we have an excellent chance of getting warm sunny weather. Our home base is Austin Texas but we are open to a substantial drive to get to the right place. Hoping for a campground with excellent amenities, full h/u is preferred, we want to be in a clean and safe place. I'm very thankful for any insights you may be able to share and I'm excited to learn from you!

Panama City Beach, Florida!! Several nice campgrounds there with great amenities. Emerald Beach Resort is an upscale, not so close to beach, but 1st class all the way. Camper's Inn has mixed reviews but all-in-all is a decent place across the street from the beach and right next to a "fun park" with carnival atmosphere and rides. There's also the St. Andrews State Park campground on the St. Andrews Bay side with lots of activities close by. Search the area with Good Sam data and other search sites. Kids will LOVE IT! Don't pass up on the Pirate Ship cruise. We've did that event last year and I've never seen an event on the water that was so directed towards kids, including pulling up a treasure chest from the bottom of the bay and sharing the booty with all the kids. They totally entertain the kids and there's a bar on the ship also. Pier Park is fairly new with every kind of shop you could imagine.

Hi Eddie! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would recommend Gulf Shores, AL. Beautiful white sand beaches and many nice campgrounds. Gulf State Park is a beautiful full hookup campground!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Anywhere along the Gulf Coast is beautiful!! I'm partial to PCB as we have a house there. Lots of kid crap to do.
