Staunton River State Park in VA

Has anyone ever stayed in this Virginia state park? I will be driving in from Richmond on Highways 360 to 716 to 344. My coach is 40 feet, plus toad, 60 feet altogether. I have never been on these roads or in this state park before. Anything to be concerned about?

Thanks.

Chuck

The only concern is whether there will be a site available. The State Parks have increased in popularity over the past few years and are sometimes full on weekends in the summertime.

We've had our 34' 5th wheel in that park with no issues on the access roads or in the park itself.

You shouldn't have any problems.

Have a great trip!

Thanks. Since I will be coming mid-week, there is plenty of availability. I was hoping to hear about the roads - your info is exactly what I was looking for and is much appreciated.

Thanks.
