Stone Mountain
Hi all
We are going to Stone Mountain the 26th and the 27th and we are so exited! When we first tried to book they were sold out. Then voila, we got it! only one site left #338. We think would like to bring our golf cart after looking at the size of this place online. Anyone been there lately?

I don't know about lately but we were there in April. Beautiful place. We rented one of their sites on the water with wooden decks and gas BBQ! Had a great time. Golf cart might be a good idea but make sure to check the local laws on them. It won't be very good if they're restricted to the campground area.

I found this quote below on their site, and since I live nearby, they will not allow anything except a motor vehicle, legally registered on the roadways in the park, Sorry..........enjoy your stay.

We visited there a few years ago. Our GPS took us to an entrances strictly for auto's. The road to this entrance went under a railroad trestle which was a low clearance, 12'. We came close to driving under the trestle, keep an eye out and enjoy the trip.
