By the way I live at the beach so I tend to go inland when I camp. Been to Havasu many many times with my boat, I'll bet it's really low now. We need to get some rain pronto!

We have a lot there and bring the boat as well. I'll bet the lake level is within 2' of what it normally is. They have to keep it that way for the intakes that pump to L.A. Mead continues to fall so they've added a deeper intake farther from the dam so they can still generate power. Monsoons over Az. will help a little but mostly for the Imperial Valley and places close to that. Sorry, don't want to get too off topic.

On the Arizona side across and north from Black Meadow Landing, there was a cove I used to always camp in. I forgot the name of it, but it was big enough that you could actually water-ski in it when the rest of the lake was blown out. I was wondering if that cove was dry now? I really don't think it was that deep, and if they lost three feet or so it might be dry or almost dry.

I found it, it's called Standard Wash. I haven't been out there in many years, but it used to be our go-to camping spot. We'd park at Black Meadow, then cruise over there in the boats and camp.
