Sunset Point near Marble Falls Texas on Lake LBJ
I just wanted to give a picture or two of this very nice RV site in Texas. Conveniently located near Marble Falls, Horse Shoe Bay, and Johnson City to name a few. Enjoyed our time there over the Holiday break, but had some cold weather.

It is a lovely place but unless you can fish or swim in lake there isn't much to do in the park. No pool - no general store - no gift shop - and just refer you to H.E.B. down the street. It's also a bit pricey. But have stayed their several times and would go back for the lake and of course the our at the Blue Bonnet Cafe!
Glad you enjoyed it!

We have just over 7000 miles since September and just finished 12 states/3500 miles over the Holidays and we love it. A few minor problems we will have looked at this week during the service in Harrisburg. The one floor heat zone is out, the autogen safety switch will not go off, the forward Silverleaf screen isn't responding to touch and the AC is not working. None of which have been a major issue, but looking forward to getting them fixed.

With the on-line coupon and Good Sam discount, we paid around $40/night. We didn't spend much time around the site. We have friends in Horse Shoe Bay, so spent some time with them. We did manage to get to the Blue Bonnet and also had BBQ at Salt Like and Opie's.

Tedandmaggie, it's 25 degrees on my deck right now. You are about 30 min west (colder) of me. I hope you are staying nice and warm. This week is supposed to be one of our colder weeks.

We've stayed at Sunset Point several times. We have family in Marble Falls. Really nice setting surrounded on 3 sides by Lake LBJ a constant level lake. Blue Bonnet is a must do for at least 1 breakfast. Be sure to take a little trip west to Llano. Cooper's BBQ Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar?B?Que - It's All About The Meat! We know BBQ in KC............Cooper's is almost indescribable (mouth watering) with your choice our of the pit of everything BBQ you can think of...pork, beef, bird.......what ever cut you want
