Telluride

We are staying in a resort for a couple of days and need a place just to park the 5th wheel, no hook ups just a parking place but haven't found a place online. Anyone been there with their trailer - in Telluride, there are camp site in the area but not in town.

As you're probably aware, Telluride is very upscale so I don't think you'd be able to leave your RV just parked on a parking lot. There are few parking places to begin with. There is a city park in Telluride but I doubt they'd let you store the RV there. South of Telluride are some national forest campgrounds along Hwy 145 and around Lizard Head Pass but again, I don't think you could let the RV unoccupied.


You might have to find something in Ridgway or the bigger town of Montrose. Good luck!

A couple of year ago we stayed at Lizard head pass. One of prettiest places we ever stayed.... There were a few rigs there that were unattended and the owners stayed there on the weekend. I doubt it's officially allowed but no one seemed to monitor it.
